Dorchester County, S.C. - Fort Dorchester High School parents were told via email Tuesday night that Coach Steve LaPrad would be returning as Head Football Coach.

This news comes a week after the DD2 School Board decided not to accept LaPrad's resignation at their meeting and moved to table the vote on his resignation for the February meeting. Rumors have been swirling that LaPrad was forced to resign by Superintendent Shane Robbins. Summerville News has a pending FOIA request to the district to try and substantiate these rumors.
