Summerville - Results this evening show Robby Robbins as the winner of today's District 97 Special Republican Primary Election. Two Republicans competed for the Republican nomination in the Special Election that took place today in Dorchester, Berkeley, and Colleton Counties.
Robby will go on to face ReZsaun Lewis who is a former educator, veteran, and non profit youth mentor. That Special General Election will take place May 17th.
In June there will be another Republican Primary, and in November another General Election. Today's special election was triggered when Former State Rep Mandy Kimmons resigned in December.
