SUMMERVILLE, S.C - Summerville Mayor Mayor Ricky Waring who presides over the 7th largest city in South Carolina is expected to endorse Congresswoman Nancy Mace at 9:30am Tuesday morning in Hutchinson Square.
Mace is competing against former State Representative Katie Arrington in the June 14th Republican Primary. Recent scientific polls like the one taken by the Trafalgar Group show Mace ahead of her opponent in a tight race.
Waring's endorsement may come as a shock to Arrington who lives just a couple blocks away from Mayor Waring in Summerville. We'll continue to follow this race and the other contested races in the Summerville area leading up to Primary Election Day on June 14th.
