As Chapter Chair of Moms for Liberty in Dorchester County, I am excited to announce an upcoming event that brings together our community and Attorney General Alan Wilson to discuss an issue of great importance—Title IX and federal overreach. Title IX was initially established to ensure equal opportunities in education for all students, regardless of gender. However, concerns have arisen regarding potential overreach by the federal government, which may have unintended consequences for our local schools and the rights of our students.
On behalf of Moms for Liberty, I am honored to host Attorney General Alan Wilson at this event, where we will have the opportunity to engage in a productive dialogue about these pressing matters. Attorney General Wilson has been a steadfast advocate for our state, fighting to protect the rights and interests of all South Carolinians.
Our goal for this event is to provide a platform for community members, parents, educators, and concerned citizens to voice their questions, concerns, and perspectives. By coming together, we can ensure that our local schools and students remain protected from unnecessary federal intervention while upholding the principles of fairness, equality, and opportunity.
We invite all members of our community to join us this Tuesday at 301 N Hickory St in Summerville, SC for this important discussion with Attorney General Alan Wilson. Together, we can explore strategies to safeguard the rights of our students and navigate the potential impact of federal policies on our local educational institutions.
Moms for Liberty is dedicated to empowering parents and communities to advocate for the education, well-being, and rights of our children. We believe in the importance of informed dialogue and collaborative efforts to address the challenges we face. For further information about the event, please contact us at m4lDorchester@gmail.com.
