Former President Donald Trump is coming to South Carolina again. The former President's rally is scheduled for March 12 at 7 p.m. at the Florence Regional Airport.
SCGOP Chairman Drew Mckissick gave a statement on the news: “After a year of crises and failures from the Biden Administration, it’s no surprise folks are eager to rally behind a Republican, America First agenda, that’s why we’re excited to welcome President Trump back to South Carolina.”
It's widely expected that his intentions are to hold the rally to support both Katie Arrington and Russell Fry, two candidates that Trump has endorsed in the last few weeks. Russell Fry is running against Tom Rice who was one of ten Republicans who voted to impeach President Trump. Fry currently serves in the SC State House as the Majority Chief Whip and was endorsed by President Trump on Feb. 1. Arrington also comes from the SC State House as a former State Representative for District 94 which covers a lot of the Summerville, SC area. Arrington's race is much like Fry's race, where both candidates are seeking to unseat a "disloyal" Republican. Sources say that SC-1 Representative Nancy Mace is a top Trump target in this year's 2022 Republican Primary mid term elections.
Pictured this week former State Rep Katie Arrington was with former President Trump in Mar a Lago at a MAGA conference that featured many candidates being supported by the former President.
