Summerville, S.C. - Summerville's Parks and Recreation Department makes up a large part of the yearly events Summerville Residents enjoy. Summerville's Parks and Recreation Department honored the employees who make it all happen for Summerville Residents at their annual Parks and Recreation Awards.

Arlen and Tim won our Rookie of the Year Award as they are the dynamic duo and one couldn't be honored without the other. They both serve on our ballfields crew at Gahagan park. They have been with the Town of Summerville for roughly a year.
Kevin won our Employee of the Year Award! Kevin is one of our Grounds Crew Leaders and has been with the Town of Summerville for roughly 22 years!
George won our highest distinguished award, the Leadership Award. George is our Senior Crew Chief Leader. He has been with the Town of Summerville for 38 years!!
