While the Low Country got stuck with mostly just cold rain and wind, some areas of the upstate got to see some snowfall.
A winter storm bringing 4 to 8 inches of snow struck the upstate over the weekend.
Around 90,000 people lost power during the winter blast.
Teams responded quickly as Governor
Henry McMaster declared a state of
emergency for South Carolina before the
weekend, in caution.
An estimated 120 National Guard soldiers were activated to help those stranded in the snow.
